Do You Sometimes Feel Like Flying Away?

I want to portray a frantic pursuit of freedom by painting the sense of movement - prolonging a fleeting moment and showing a moment unconstrained and transformative through the merging of colors and forms, and ultimately, amalgamating onto the subject of a dragonfly, the fastest flying insect. There seem to always be factors holding us back (societal/family/mental pressures) from our aspiration for freedom; with the eye’s gaze focused on the viewer, the painting urges us to introspect about our own limits and their origins.
