Constructed and carved from large blocks of styrofoam layered with aluminum tape, the Beetle Project is an interactive piece set in local parks (hollow beetle‘s back that people can sit in) that reflects the lost innocence and immense curiosity we had as children. The Beetle invites viewers to once again seek shelter and excitement under the reflective shell of the magnificent pollinator and decomposer of nature.
