OVEREXPOSED.
An allusion to Judgment Day, this piece reflects on the power dynamic between man and nature. With all the light values possessing the same intensity (inspired by overexposed photographs), it represents the idea that we will ultimately return to the same substances as nature and be in the hands of nature. The larger-than-life-size hares look down on the mortal man, who is now no longer superior and equal to all creatures. The “natural” hierarchy of the world will ultimately be flattened with each life cycle.
